Derivs of trifluoromethoxy quinolines of formula (where R is H, 1-6C alkyl opt. unsatd. phenyl opt. substd. by =1 halogen, 1-3C alkyl, 1-3C alkoxy, NO2 R' is H, NO2, CN where R3 and R4 are H, 1-6C alkyl opt. unsatd. CO2R5 where R5 is 1-6C alkyl opt. unsatd. R2 is OH or halogen) and their addn salts, are novel cpds which can be prepd. by conventional methods.
