Unit is intended for use in buffets, canteens and restaurants, and contains deep-freeze cabinets with shutters, and a sector with micro-wave oven. This sector also contains multi-use cabinets while the base encloses the electrical and freezing appts. Each deep-freeze cabinet has a drawer type air-conditioner so that the temp. can be kept at a uniform level in spite of the withdrawal of successive food portions encased in pastry. Passage into the micro-wave oven ensures the instantaneous cooking of the food stuff. A succession of hot meals can be prepd. from deep-frozen dishes made in advance. The unconsumed prods. can be maintained in the preserved condition without the temp. being disturbed by the withdrawal of those dishes required for immediate consumption.
