The inner vessel of the reservoir has holes above the uppermost level of the liq. to promote pressure equalisation between the jacket space and the gas layer above the liq. A pipe leads down from the gas layer to a jacket entry-connection at or near the bottom of the vessel, so that pressure equalisation is substantially instantaneous.
