is extracted from mixt. contg. it using as extraction solvent, diisopropyl ether, followed by conventional recovery from the soln. (e.g. recrystallisation azeotropic distillation with water). Extracting with diisopropyl ether is pref. in a counter-current, no subsequent purificn. is required, and solvent-losses are reduced.
