Modular pavilion elements for shelters - joined at rigid tubular edges and sealed by a reinforced plastics sheet

Modular pavilion element, for lightweight temporary shelters, is delimited by 4 rigid edges which converge 2 by 2 at 4 corners or extremities. The 4 edges are contained in 4 planes, symmetrical 2 by relative to a symmetry axis. The intersection of the planes with a plane at 90 degrees to the axis defines a diamond shaped, the value of the angle of one of the whose groups of opposite angles is a simple fraction of 360 degrees. The edges form 2 pairs, the edges of each of which are respectively symmetrical relative to planes passing through the symmetry axis. Two of the opposed extremities - "symmetrical extremities"- of the element are mutually symmetrical relative to the axis. The projections of the 2 other extremities - "non-symmetrical extremities" - of the element onto the symmetry axis are offset relative to each other. Pref. the edges are formed by rigid skeletal tubes, and a sealed sheet extends between them, e.g. of polyester/woven glass fibre.
