Cloud-and pour-point depressants - comprising diamine and hydrocarbon solvent

An additive for lowering the cloud point and pour point of hydrocarbons leaving refinery in the 2.9-21 cS range (esp. gas oil and domestic fuel oil) contains a diamine, pref. of formula RNH(CN2)3NH2 (where R is a 6-10C aliphatic gp), and hydrocarbon solvent, pref. a deodorised petroleum solvent.
