Child's hand toy made from small plates - has plates joined by strips of ribbon to give illusion of continuous motion

There are six small different coloured rectangular plates of wood or plastic each 7cm. long, 4cm. wide and 0.4cm. thick. Five plates have two lengths of ribbon attached to one side and one length of ribbon on the opposite side. The sixth plate has no ribbons attached to it. Plates are assembled with the ribbons "over and under" and the ends glued to form a continuous length. When folded in accordion fashion and held by two fingers, they unfold to form the game, giving the illusion of continuous motion.
