摘要
Single-metal salts of heparin with metals other than Na or mixed heparin salts are prepd. by contacting a suitable single-metal salt (esp. Na salt) with a metal salt so as to cause cation exchange, and then in a second stage, the ions released in this exchange process are removed and the resultant salt contacted with the exchanging metal again, opt. this treatment cycle is repeated until cation exchange is essentially complete. Ions released may be removed by dialysis and/or pptn. with aq. alcohol. Mixed salts and Ca salts contg. practically no Na are new cpds; esp. pref. are Ca salts contg. 10.3-10.6 wt.% ca and 0.1 wt.% Na. These salts do not cause skin bleeding or haematosis as does the Na salt.
