In Fig. 4 (not shown), a rotor is mounted on each of a pair of arms extending radially from a shaft to be driven, the rotors running on a pair of rails surrounding the shaft and rotor assembly. A plurality of rotors may be mounted in a vehicle suspended from rails in an evacuated tube, Figs. 5 and 6 (not shown).
