1346181 Knuckle duster splint HUGH STEEPER (ROEHAMPTON) Ltd 28 Jan 1972 [29 Jan 1971] 3476/71 Heading A5R A knuckle duster splint comprising a rigid rod or tube 10 adapted to lie transversely across the palm of a hand, provided at each end with forwardly and rearwardly extending springy wires 20, 22 and 24, 26 respectively, the forwardly extending wires being connected by a rigid finger bridge 32 adapted to be resiliently forced against the backs of the upper parts of the fingers by the wires, and the rearwardly extending wires being connected by a rigid plate 30 adapted to bear upon the back of the hand of the wearer. The finger bridge 32 and plate 30 are formed from plastics material and are coated with plastics foam at the surfaces which contact the hand. The wires 20, 22, 24, 26 are pivoted to the finger bridge and plate, and may be housed in plastics sleeves 38 and 40.
