The connector is manufactured in one piece by injection-moulding. In the first stage a mould is formed by moving a matrix half and a contra-matrix half towards each other, while first and second cores are inserted between them from the sides in a direction at right angles to matrix movement. In a second stage a liquid hardening material is injected into the mould formed by matrices and cores, and allowed to harden. In a third stage the hardened material is released by moving matrices and cores apart.
