Plastic sheets esp for insulation - with profiled ribs of defined spacing and dimensions on each face

Opaque, partly transparent or pref. fully transparent plastic e.g. PVC, polystyrene or polyethylene, sheets have a thickness of 0.05-3 mm and are provided with profiled ribs on each side, these ribs having a height of 0.1-3 mm, and a move. thickness of 0.1-5 mm. The ribs are placed at a distance of 3-500 mm from each other, and may be hollow or provided with a core. Used esp. as a filling between double glazing, e.g. in glass roofs or walls, or in greenhouse construction. Increases heat insulation, prevents moisture deposition on the glass frames and has decorative appearance.
