1387925 Reactive disazo dyestuffs IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd 4 May 1973 [24 May 1972] 24454/72 Heading C4P [Also in Division D1] The dyestuffs of the formula (wherein one of A and A 1 is H and the other is SO 3 H) are prepared by coupling 2 moles of diazotized 4 - nitroaniline - 2 - sulphonic acid or 4 - acetylaminoaniline - 2 - sulphonic acid with one mole of 1,8-aminonaphthol-3,6-disulphonic acid, reducing or hydrolysing the product, and then condensing 1 mole of the resulting product with 2 moles of cyanuric chloride which is also condensed with 2 moles of sulphanilic or metanilic acid. The dyestuffs give dark green shades on cellulosic textiles. Specification 876,923 is referred to.
