A mounting plate (1) is fitted to the ceiling and supports a lower plate (4) on a swivel shaft (3). The screen (8) is fitted to the lower plate in a horizontal roll (5). A toothed gear segment (13) is mounted behind the roll and has a short lever (15) hinged at its centre of curvature. This lever is set in the required angle and a tubular strut (12) is slotted over the end, secured by a bayonet fitting to lock in place over the segment teeth. The bottom of the strut carries a hook (11) which holds the free end of the stretched out screen. The system enables the screen to be set at different inclinations and at different angles to the edges of the room. This provides a better viewing setting, with the projector pointing squarely at the screen.
