Rescue vehicle for rescuing people from burning buildings - has telescopic support jib for supporting travelling cabin

The rescue vehicle has on its frame a telescopic extending and retracting support arm. This arm carries at its free end a pivoted cabin. This cabin is hence always in a vertical position regardless of the tilting angle of the telescopic arm. This cabin is brought into contact with openings in the building wall such as windows. The persons to be rescued can climb into the cabin. No assistance by fire fighting personnel is required. The persons rescued are brought down from multistorey buildings without imposing any physical hardship. The rescue cabin and the telescopic jib are compactly stowed on the rescue vehicle when not in use.
