The uniformly pleated impermeable material that does not rot is preferably formed from cellophane, transparent cellulose acetate or aluminium. Unlike prior designs the bag will not rot or deteriorate under the action of water from contained pots and will not permit the pot to move within the bag. A bag formed from a sheet folded "sunflower" fashion is illustrated, transcribing a circle and contg. a conventional cylindrical tapered pot to which the bag is tied at the waist. The sheet may be printed with a decorative and/or publicity design.
