A sling support for equipment, especially for transportable electronic instruments, which is not liable to work loose under the influence of vibration, heat, or dampness. The sling is in the form of an elastic strap (3) provided with holes (4) at each end which fit over studs or buttons (2) on the instrument (1). The straps (3) can be manufactured from pieces of material rolled out and punched with round or elongated holes. It can thereby be adjusted for individual arm lengths for ease of carrying. the strap can be wound around auxiliary apparatus such as headphones, maps, instructions etc. when the instrument is on the ground, table, fixed to tree etc.
