A brassiere, in partic. for use with bathing suits, comprises a string intended to encircle the bust of a user horizontally, while passing under the breast of the latter, and two breast caps fitted to the string in a manner such that they are able to slide thereon, the upper parts of the caps being held by means of any suitable means.
