Reinforced-concrete ceiling prefabricated permanent formwork panel - with transverse bars embedded at rib's intersections for site concrete bonding

The permanent ceiling formwork panel comprises a concrete slab containing at least part of the ceiling reinforcement, with longitudinal ribs which project into the layer of concrete to be applied, and which have to be provided with means of bonding with the applied site concrete. For this purpose there are bars running across the longitudinal ribs and embedded in the crossover areas, sited at an interval from the concrete slab. At least part of their surface is left free, so that they remain in direct contact with the side concrete in the built-in position. They may be spaced so that they are surrounded by the site concrete on all sides. There may be additional reinforcing bars in some of the longitudinal ribs, extending over their length. Beside providing good bonding, the panel is easily manufactured and can be safely transported.
