Climbing shuttering for making reinforced concrete domes - uses internal steel dome for guiding internal shuttering on completed sections in stages

The spherical dome is built on cylindrical support body and the spherical part has outside climbing shuttering whose lower end is supported by an already completed part of the dome. The inner shuttering is supported by a spherical steel dome which is separated by a distance from the concrete dome to be built. The steel spherical dome supports the internal shuttering sections which are pulled upwards by means of the outside shuttering frame whose lower end rests on the steps in the already completed concrete part. The steel dome supports the roller at the contacting end of the inner shuttering. This climbing shuttering system can be used for building domes of other shapes as well.
