Spray nozzle comprises a rotary chamber of which the wall is arranged rotationally symmetrical relative to the axis of the chamber, a tangential inlet into the chamber, an axial outlet, and a baffle surface in a region of the chamber remote from the outlet, as seen from the level at which the inlet enters the chamber. The normal of the baffle surface forms an angle of approximately 11 deg. with the chamber axis. The baffle surface consists of the surface facing the outlet of a plate which is mounted at a distance above the base of the chamber. The plate includes an axial bore and eccentrically arranged bores.
