Fitting of swivel arm on switching shaft of limit probe - involves collar with symmetrical keyways for locking pin complying with standards specification

The swivel arm is fitted to the switching shaft of the limit probe and held in position by a locking screw. The switch shaft has a collar shaped out of the same material and has three symmetrically placed longitudinal slots. The collar can also be separately made and fitted on to the shaft. There is a pin with countersunk head pushed through a hole in the swivel arm locating in one of the three slots, depending on the bias required. In assembly the swivel arm is first fitted over the shaft, then the pin located in the desired slot and then the locking screw tightened. The slots comply with the appropriate DIN specification.
