One of the three rollers is driven by an electric motor and polishing shoes are mounted behind all three sides of the polisher. Each shoe has a different shaped surface e.g. one is flat, one is hollow and one is rounded. The polisher can be supported from a counter-weight and may be used in the horizontal plane for polishing vehicle bodywork or for polishing other metal or plastics articles. To ensure easy handling of the polisher it is fastened to the support rope by a swivel. The user grips hand wheels which fix on either side of the belt.
