Easy-to read card index filing system - uses endless print-outs of data-processing systems as cards and avoids amending old cards when updating

The card index pocket has on one side an information reference field which is adapted to the screen of the print of the data processor and has free areas through which can be seen the information on the endless printout section. The card index pocket is closed at the lower edge and side edge and the upper corner is cut off with the inclined edges joined together and the print-out sections resting against these edges. The lower edge is fitted with a peripheral strip formed by welding the side walls and having cogged recesses, the spacing between which is adapted to corresponding shapes of an associated card index cabinet. When updating the information the old print-out is merely replaced by the new one which avoids error and the need for completing the old car.
