Woodchips and glue proportioned by weight - with premeasurement of moisture content of chips pref. by resistance measurement

A method of measuring the weight ratio of a dry substance, esp. woodchips, and of a solid admixture, esp. glue, is used where the dry substance initially contains some moisture and the solid admixture is introduced in an aqueous soln., suspension, or emulsion. The moisture content of the dry substance is measured before the glue is admixed, and the moisture content of the entire mixture (dry substance, solid admixture, water) after mixing. The difference between the two readings is then established.
