The head and the handle of the brush are separable from each other. The handle is hollow and receives a container or cartridge containing a suitable cleansing agent with an outlet nozzle which fits into the entry bore on the brush head. Between outlet end of cartridge and head entry part a spiral spring is fitted. At the opposite end of the handle a knob, when pressed, supplies cleanser to the brush. This action can also be achieved by screwing the handle in one direction. Turning the handle in opposite direction or releasing the pressure on the knob stops the supply of cleanser due to the return action of the spring.
