Injection mould replacement system - having quick-release clamping system acting on half-mould base plates

Each half-mould is fitted with a base plate, for attachment to the slide walls of the injection moulding unit, the yoke on one base plate giving vertical and horizontal adjustment with the beams, the securing bolts and clips being activated by push rods to clamp the moulds in place. Device gives rapid removal and replacement of the half-moulds on a prod. change, without loss of time through positioning by locating studs, in a unit which can withstand the pressures experienced during injection moulding.
