Filament wound spherical GRP container - made without winding core by casting inner shell and winding round

Spherical container for liquids (e.g. heating oil), is made by first producing a rigid inner plastic shell, partic. of polyamide, by a rotation-casting and wrapping this with GRP for the outer shell. Process eliminates need to extract any winding core but still produces a GRP wound body.
