Monaural or stereophonic recordings can be played in such a way that the listener has the impression of being in a concert hall. The process involves the use of two different heads and two pairs of speakers. The heads are arranged one behind the other, pref. on one arm on the same track. The foremost head is connected to two speakers placed in front of the listener and the rear most head is connected to two speakers behind the listener. The distance between the heads can be adjusted to suit the room in which the equipment is used.
