摘要
Electrodes are embedded in an insulating material e.g. plastic and have a web-like ink carrier some 0.04 mm. thick located in front of them. The carrier comprises a fine support net made from e.g. glass fibre which holds the electrically conducting ink in its mesh. The metallic lattice is positioned opposite the net and has the paper for receiving the image located on its other side. The ink comprises conducting pigment particles e.g. graphite suspended in a binder. A voltage of at least 100 volt. is created between the lattice and the 'printing' electrodes. The colour solids correspond to those typically used on thermo-copying paper and which have a melting temp. of 80-150 deg.C.
