Hollow dowel with separate mushroom cap - for attaching insulation to masonry, timber, etc., esp. in flat roof construction

The cap is reinforced by an internal domed metal plate and the tapered shaft attached to the metal plate is inserted under spring loading into the hollow shaft of the dowel which has previously been fastened in the masonry etc. and over which the insulation etc. has been laid. The edge of the hollow shaft has an annular extension and the underside of the cap is concave with a number of sealing ribs. The shaft attached to the cap reinforcement has a number of annular protrusions and the foot of the shaft has a concave surface.
