In mfr. of laminates (esp. those contng. foamed cores) whose outer layers are brought into relatively close proximity to each other, which are then connected via an intermediate synthetic foam core, is not =1 outer layer is gradually passed into the final position from a plane which is inclined thereto. This is claimed to make continuous inspection of the production process possible. Any snags arising may be easily spotted.
