Corrugated/plain tube connection - has bushing with socket extension joining plain tube via tapered shoulder

The corrugated tube is placed in a coaxial second corrugated tube, the annular gap between the two is filled with plastic foam. The larger corrugated tube is fitted with a screwed-in bushing with a face ring soldered-on. The opening in the face ring contains the smaller bushing with the extension connecting to the smaller corrugated tube. In order to avoid the possibility of creating an electrolytic element when using two different metals being in contact, the bushing with the extension is made of a material having approximately the same electro-chemical potential as the corrugated tube material.
