The piston system connected to the power take off shaft is split in half and it forms a toroidal cylinder with a spherical piston. The combustion air is compressed by the spherical piston. The explosion in the combustion chamber drives the spherical piston through the toroidal cylinder. At the end of this cylinder the spherical piston impinges on the semicircular hydraulic cylinder of the opposite half of the split piston assembly. This causes rotating movement. Due to the asymmetrical operation of both hydraulic cylinders the exhaust gases are pushed out. This arrangement uses less fuel than other engines.
