In a nuclear reactor plant, particularly a pressure water reactor with a steel reactor pressure vessel with pipe branches for the main cooling medium pipes which pass through the, preferably concrete, biological shield, claw supports and claw guides are provided on at least one pipe branch and are supported on the biological shield, more especially via a steel tubular wall. Enables the reactor vessel to be fixed more securely particularly so as to accept in case of accident the maximum theoretical forces likely to occur and more especially forces acting in a different direction to the weight load.
