Attaching needle rails to hollow chain links - using staples whose shanks fit the links

Needle rail connecting device is formed by a staple whose shanks are inserted into hollow bolts interconnecting chain inks carrying the needle rails and the web of the staple engages a recess in the rail and is interlocked by a lug. Rails can be attached to or removed from the chain without disassembling the chain. Pref. the staple is formed of resilient wire and the lug is carried by the rail.
