Contact arrangement for selector or commutator in step switches - uses spring contact elements of equal size for contacts and collector for all switch sizes

In the selector centre there is a collector ring and the fixed contacts are arranged in a circle. The collector ring and the fixed contact are connected via a copper stand by the contact part springy located i n the contact holder. By the chosen construction of the contact parts with two seats as contact points the safety of the contact making is doubled. The springy arrangement of the contact parts to the contact holder is achieved by two compression springs which are inserted into two holes directly above the contact points to secure uniform contact pressure. Insulating pieces and a comblike insulation part with one or more support parts are provided between adjacent contact parts.
