Waterless electrical egg-cooker has a tunnel or housing with tunnel(s), with incandescent wires for egg cooking. The eggs are pushed into the tunnel on a slide, and are automatically ejected after a timed duration, and a bell rings to announce a table-ready egg. Preferably the slide is held fast by latches or magnetic contact until the time elapses. The contact switch permits current to pass only when egg(s) are inserted. Manipulation and monitoring are simplified. The use of current and time needed are reduced by half. The apparatus can be used at the table like a toaster and can further be used as a mini-grill for apples, tomatoes, bananas, etc.
