Large heavy doors in industrial buildings etc. have one or more turning wings, to prevent the risk of fingers or whole hands being caught and crushed as the door closes, and at the same time ensure effective closure without excessively accurate fitting in installation, or special frame section pieces at the side. The wing is set at an interval of at least a hand's thickness from the soffit in the closed position, the remaining space being bridged by a vertically running sealing shaped-section which has an elastically deformable, C-cross-sectioned sealing lip which fits against the soffit when the door is closed. This lip is pref. tapered towards its end in cross-section. An L-shaped section may be attachable to the wing by one arm, with a dovetailed groove in its other arm.
