The system to give a colour patterned effect to knitted fabrics, uses adjacent stitches in each row which are composed of one or more thin bonding yarns, one or more thicker pattern yarns, and combinations of the two types of yarns. The system gives a flecked pattern effect to the knitted fabric, witout using a Jacquard.
