The musical instrument is intended especially for childrens' play and therapy, and is played by dance movements. It has sound producers, clamped on one side, arranged around a loosely mounted clapper which strikes them when set in motion. Preferably the assembly can be positioned about both ears of a person in a headset fashion for direct transmission of the sound. The producers can have different dimensions, shapes, and materials to produce different sounds. The assembly encloses a chamber, in which electric amplifiers can be connected to the instrument. The person can dance unhindered to his or her own music, and can express the dance movements in accordance with the produced music.
