A bitumen and/or asphalt compsn. for building purposes contains is not 10 wt wt. % polyethylene and/or polypropylene, contg. pigment particles and pref. mineral particles of size 0.5 mm, and a polyolefin printing aid (I). (I) promotes soln. of the polyolefin in the binder, giving rapid, homogeneous distribution. Sepn. of the components of the mixt. is prevented. The compsn. is used for road surfacing, sealing films, roofing and swim pool linings, and as impregnant and coating for paper, metals, synthetic films or fabrics, and glass fibre fabrics.
