First-aid bandage for immobilising fractures, esp. of legs or arms, has attachment straps fastened to the inner side of one longitudinal side of an inflatable plastics foil and on the outer side of the other long side. The strap toward the inside can be pushed through openings on the opposite side of the foil. Preferably there are stiffening ribs between the inside and outside of the foil. The ends of the straps have hooklets formed as a burr strip, with a corresp. attachment strip on the outside of the foil. Rapid and effective immobilisation is obtd. with good protection from external conditions.
