The invention enables a film projector to be coupled to a television camera including in the optical path which can be deflected an odd or even number of times to couple other projectors without the deflection in the camera having to be changed for television reproduction of the pictures arriving from the projectors. Slide projectors can also be brought within the system. The deflections created by reflection in the optical path is 2n number of times where n is 0 or a positive integer. Pechan or Schmidt prisms are used in the ray path between the film projector and t.v. camera.
