The entry assembly for car parking places set one above the other, in a multi-car garage, incorporates a ramp unit which can swivel on a horizontal axis. This comprises a number of ramps which are kept in a more or less horizontal setting when not in use, and which act together to provide a flat entrance surface. Ramp width may be equal to the width for several parking places. In a three-storey assembly the height of the entrance surface pref. equals that of the middle storey. There may be an approach barrier mechanism which comes into action when a ramp is swivelled. Switch controls may be mounted in teh ceiling and operated by a pull cord from the driver's seat.
