The alarm circuit can be connected to several alternative contacts which trigger off the alarm. The switch-like arrangement which achieves this operation consists of a guided insulated disc, which is provided on part of its circumference with a contact strip arranged in such a way that it connects two leads with the ignition circuit when the car is in use and two lead ends with the alarm circuit when the car was secured against theft. The operation of the switch can be achieved via a flexible shaft which terminals in the rotary cylinder of a safety lock accessible from outside and by means of a suitable key.
