摘要
The procedure is for firm connection of inlays, such as reinforcing or anchoring rods, into building components, which involves embedding part of the length in concrete or other hard-setting mass, and holding it in place during the setting process. Each inlay unit is bedded in, in its correct setting, to the length required for firm holding, in synthetic-resin mortar which as been treated witih an inhibitor to prevent hardening at ambient temperature. After adjustment of the setting if necessary, a heat shock at predetermined temperature is imparted to bring about hard setting; this may be applied to the mortar via heat-conducting inlays, using electric resistance heating. If the inlays are tubular the plastic mortar may be introduced through them. This is esp. suitable for anchoring screws in curtain wall facades.
