The elements in the skeleton system comprise uprights and girders for attachment of ceilings, walls and fittings, a number being connected for building round any space. The frame elements are assembled from cold-formed steel plate profiles of C-shaped cross-section, with triangular widened stem parts as seating for the girders, with the flange of the C running round these parts. The basic element consists of pairs of frame elements joined crossways to form two enclosed frames standing orthogonally to each other; these individual basic elements can be joined together with the outside flat surfaces of the plates meeting, and/or with the outside flat surfaces of the peripheral double flanges meeting.
