The gas/water tight wall lead-in for cables is directly or indirectly detachably fixed to the wall and is characterised by the carrier part for the acceptance of the cable lead-in part being arranged angled to the part for connection to the wall and that the acceptance of the lead-in part is swingable in the carrier part. The swingable joint between the carrier and the lead in parts is a ball joint consisting of a ball-and-socket joint and the joint segment with a seal between them. The carrier is pivotally attached in the wall. The arrangement is adaptable to a wide range of lead-in angles.
