The spring clamp as in 2345629 consists of a metal plate of basically rectangular form. The plate has a small insert part for insertion into a hole of the printed wiring board and can be soldered at the remote board area to a printed conductor. The spring clamp permits detachable connection of wire conductors. In the upper portion of the plate where it is formed to a U-profile a closely wound helical spring is held between its two shanks which have slots to accept the spring ends, which are led through the slots and bent to the rear side of the plate. The spring is thus hooked to the plate and fixed in its position.
